Black Range Hood 30 inch, Convertible Wall Mount Range Hood with Brushless Motor, 450 CFM, 9 Speed Fan, Soft Touch Controls, Permanent Filters, LED Lights, Charcoal Filter included

A 30 inch wall mounted chimney style range hood built around a brushless DC motor, offered in a ducted or ductless convertible configuration. Its 450 CFM of suction clears smoke and airborne grease quickly, while the lowest of its 9 fan speeds runs quietly enough to fade into the background of an open kitchen.

• Quiet, efficient airflow: The brushless DC motor replaces a conventional AC asynchronous motor, so high extraction, low noise and reduced energy draw are achieved together rather than traded against one another. On its slowest setting this 30 inch range hood is close to silent, and at full suction 450 CFM pulls smoke and grease out of the air.
• Ducted or ductless convertible: The hood can be switched to a recirculating ductless setup using the carbon filter supplied in the box, which keeps the kitchen air fresher and prevents the space from feeling stale. Two adjustable chimneys are included and suit ceilings from 7.5 to 8.5 ft. For taller rooms a separate extension chimney reaches a 9 to 10 ft ceiling and is sold on its own.
• Lower running power: Bench testing at matched air volume showed an AC asynchronous motor drawing 180W of input power where the DC motor needed only 80W, making this hood a lighter consumer of electricity than range hoods driven by AC asynchronous motors.
• Straightforward installation and control: The instruction manual and an installation guide video walk you through mounting, and the wall mounted chimney design sits comfortably with a wide range of kitchen decors. Power and speed are switched on and off with ease, and the 9 speed fan can be matched to the cooking method in use. Two LED lamps throw warm, attractive light across the cooking workspace.
• Sleek finish, simple upkeep: The body is formed from food grade, durable, non rusting brushed 430 stainless steel whose material thickness exceeds that of many comparable hoods, and the surface resists grease, staining and rust. Two stainless steel baffle filters trap cooking grease, lift out easily for cleaning and are dishwasher safe, helping keep the kitchen cleaner and fresher.
